We need more democratic control.

Personal experience will tell you, voting for people or parties on the basis of stated agendas doesn't work, and neither is it frequent enough by any means. Having a say just once in five years only gives us an illusion of choice. Consider just how much can happen in the time that we have no control over, and how rarely the actions mirror the actual words of Manifestos.

 

The essential revolutionising element with a Click Revolution is that everyone would have a direct influence on the issues that matter to them. This could be as simple as us just having the Power Of Veto for any really unpopular Legislation: That'd be the easiest way of removing the worst effects of our current system, with the least disruption or effort. At the other end of the spectrum we could, in theory, have a vote on every issue.
